HydroStar floating golf balls are designed and manufactured to the same standard as our other balls, except with a slightly lighter core which allows the ball to float in water.

Whether you are sick of losing golf balls in water hazards on the course or just want to practice your short game into your pool or pond, our HYDROSTAR will keep your game going, no matter where your shot lands.

Please note, that there is about a 10-20% loss in distance when using any floating golf ball due to its reduced weight.

Floating Golf Balls: How do they work?

Just like most high quality 2 piece golf balls, HydroStar floating golf balls feature a Surlyn cover and rubber core, except, the rubber core has high-density, super light floating compounds.

These floating compounds are designed to produce a similar compression and elasticity as any rubber core while decreasing the overall weight of a golf ball allowing it to float on water with minimal compromise to performance.
